GRANDMA

GRANDMA

See that leafless
Abandoned,dying tree,
The one who fed and sheltered
Hundreds
Inthe daye before!

She took water drops from the depth of earth
To combine with carbondioxide
To make starch
For serving all!

Now she sinks into abyss of death,
Her pulse weakens
Numbness spreads
But,have one wish
To hear the song of a bird
To feel.the gentle wind.

How many grandmas weep
asthis dying tree
To see their little ones
To feel a gentle touch
When lying on death bed!

HOPESA handful of hopesOozing out from my fistIs the wealth, I possess. But the challenges that haunt,The terror that spreadsAnd the filth that heapsParalyse my nervesAnd loosen my fist,To let all my hopesFly free as they wish!
